The Cloaked browser extension helps you protect your personal information while browsing. It can generate secure identities, create and autofill passwords, and help you sign up for websites without exposing your real email, phone number, or credentials.
This article explains how to access and manage the extension’s settings. These controls allow you to customize how Cloaked appears on websites, how and when it generates or fills information, and how to temporarily or permanently disable the extension when needed.
Prerequisites
Before using these settings, make sure you have:
A Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Edge, or Brave)
The Cloaked browser extension installed
An active Cloaked account
The extension logged in and enabled

Changing Extension Appearance and Behavior
The Appearance tab controls how and when Cloaked prompts appear on websites.
You can adjust:
Prompt placement
Dynamic placement near the detected field
Always place prompts below the field you’re interacting with
Activation behavior
Automatically activate when you click into a supported field
Only activate when you manually click the Cloaked icon in the field
These options help reduce visual clutter or better fit your workflow, depending on how often you use the extension.
