If you have Call Guard enabled, incoming calls that have been screened by Call Guard show Verified Caller instead of a name or phone number.
Contacts in your phone are not screened by Call Guard and will show the contact name as normal.
Call Guard sits in front of your real phone number and intercepts calls from anyone not already in your contacts. When an unknown caller rings, here's what happens:
Call Guard answers first, before your phone rings.
Call Guard AI screens the caller, engaging them, analyzing voice patterns, and spam signals in real time.
If the caller passes the AI screening, Call Guard forwards the call to you.
When the screened call reaches your phone, it comes through your personal Call Guard number. Since that number isn't stored in your contacts, your phone displays it as Verified Caller.
If you want to see who actually called, the original phone number is available in the Cloaked App within your Call Guard settings. Find the Calls tab and tap on the entry to view the caller’s original number.
